Myka was born and raised in Huntsville, Texas, and later attended Sam Houston State University where she obtained her degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. After graduating from SHSU, Myka started working in the oil and gas industry in the Land department, where she learned all about contracts and coordinated payments with the Title Company and Landowners. She also has worked in the Facilities group, where she learned the upkeep of commercial buildings.
Eventually, she became a stay-at-home mom but later returned to work by being a substitute teacher at her boys’ school. She soon realized she was ready to plunge into working full-time. With her background, being a Real Estate Agent was a natural choice for her as it was the right time in her life to pursue a career she had always dreamed about! Myka is passionate about helping you and making your dreams come true, no matter what stage of life you are in!
She currently lives in Woodforest in Montgomery, Texas where she and her husband are raising their two boys. You can catch them at the baseball field on the weekend, where both of her boys play select baseball. Other activities that Myka enjoys include playing Tennis for North County Women’s Tennis League and sailing on their sailboat on Lake Conroe. They have 3 dogs and enjoy traveling.
